Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission to Stevens Henager College, you must submit the following required items:

1. Completed and Signed Application Form, Acknowledgement form and Affidavit of Support.

2. Copy of Passport

3. Financial Documentation

The applicant must submit a certified personal bank statement bearing the applicant’s full name / sponsor’s name issued directly from the applicant’s bank bearing the bank’s official seal or letterhead and signature from bank official showing an amount of at least $24,000.00 USD for master level students (or $33,000.00 for bachelors) or its equivalent in foreign currency.

4. Two Letters of Recommendation from academic or employment supervisors on company letterhead.

5. Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)

6. Evidence of English Proficiency

TOEFL - Paper Based Test: 550 / Computer Based Test: 213 / Internet Based Test: 79
IELTS - An overall band score of 6.0
PTE - An overall band score of 53
E3 - An overal band score of 65

If Applicants do not meet the English proficiency cut-off score they may apply for the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program.

7. Academic Documents – High School diploma or Bachelor’s Degree

Applicants from an international institution must demonstrate strong academic achievement. Bachelor applicants must have the equivalent of a high school diploma. Master level applicants should have completed their bachelor degree with the equivalent of at least a 2.5 GPA based on a 4.0 scale.

8. Transcripts evaluation (Global Evaluators)

If undergraduate degree / high school diploma is from a foreign institution that is not affiliated with the US Department of Education, transcript evaluation is required for the application.

NOTE: Applicants educated in countries other than the United States must have their official transcripts evaluated by an independent evaluation service (Global Evaluators). The evaluation company will send a copy of the evaluation both to the applicant and Stevens Henager College (SHC).



Curricular Practical Training is a program that allows international graduate students to receive practical training and work experience with U.S. companies while they study for a Master’s degree.

Optional Practical Training is a 12 month temporary employment authorization that provides an opportunity for graduate students who have completed or have been pursuing their degrees for more than nine months to apply knowledge acquired from their academic program to a work experience in their major field of study.

Students who have graduated from a US college or university with a specific degree in the STEM fields - science, technology, engineering and mathematics - can apply to extend their OPT for an additional 17 months, bringing their total post-graduation OPT available time up to 29 months.
